This is Ben's letter from June 29, 2015
Hola Familia,
I´m doing great. Good to hear that
you are all doing well back home. This week was really good; we had a Capilla
Abierta (Church open house) here in our building. We shared it with the branch
Asamblea, Ferroviario, Piedra Alta and Estación. Things are doing well, the
branch is pretty small. We had 66 people this week. I gave a talk yesterday.
We had an investigator that had come
to the Open House the night before who was invited by the Sister-in-law of our
relief society president. Her husband is in the Congo on a military mission and
is planning on getting married in January. She came to all three hours of the
services and is planning on coming back every week. She is right now living
with her two little daughters one is 6ish and the other is 3 ish.
The branch is doing well and I am
enjoying working with Elder Leite. The branch is trying their best to help us.
We´ve started working with the leaders to determine what less active families
we are going to focus on. We also are planning an activity for this Saturday.
It´s supposed to be sort of like a Lehi´s vision activity to teach about
Enduring to the end.
We started something here in the zone
were we´re trying to maintain daily contact if not every other day with the
Branch Mission Leaders. We are also going to be giving with the district
training on how to make a ward mission plan to be used here in the units.
I´m doing really well. How´s the
preparation for the Move going? a lot of work?
I did get the package with the
glasses thank you very much, they fit and work perfectly.
Love you lots!!
Élder Benjamin Taylor
